The Aurora-King Jays emerged victorious in the 2022 Mississauga Majors 14U AAA tournament last month.

The Jays took down the Vaughan Vikings 5-2 in the final.

It was a spectacular tournament overall to say the least for the Jays. The boys never lost a single game en-route to winning it all.

To open things up, the Jays defeated the North York Blues 16-10 in a thrilling game getting things underway.

The boys then took down the Oakville A’s 8-4, Mississauga North 4-3, the Milton Mets 19-5, and the Peterborough Tigers 6-5 in the semi-finals prior to defeating the Vikings.

A huge congratulations goes out to team manager Carrie Scott, coaches Raj Waghmare (head coach), Mark Cutajar, Nevin Gilchris, Rob Green and Tim Glenn for their outstanding leadership.

A huge congratulations goes out to the boys who did it all on the diamond for bringing home the gold: Ashton Alvaro, Drayden Morales, Hayden Gilchrist, Heath Barry, Luca Cutajar, Lucas Green, Luciano Montanaro, Matthew Burdo, Matthew Perez-Scott, Noah Glenn and Romeo Waghmare.
