A more “appropriate addition” to Cenotaph parkIn his recent letter to The Auroran newspaper, Klaus Wehrenberg puts a human face on war. He recoils at the prospect of a “tank” sharing the Peace Park with the Cenotaph. The Canadian War Museum seems a fitting place for the tools of death and destruction. A more appropriate addition to the Peace Park would be recognition that an Aurora Methodist preacher's boy, studied at the Church Street School, went on to win the 1957 Nobel Prize for Peace and become Canada's 14th Prime Minister – Lester Bowles "Mike" Pearson.
