Catherine Avenue to re-open by Friday

Catherine Ave. is expected to re-open “no later than Friday” after a water main break left many area homes without water.

While water was restored to neighbouring households by Monday night, repair crews continue to work on the damaged road.

According to Ilmar Simanovskis, Aurora’s Director of Infrastructure, work is expected to be completed this week.

“The Town plans to have that road completed no later than Friday,” said Mr. Simanovskis, noting cold temperatures are creating an issue in laying down asphalt.
