Families gather to help turn on Aurora’s Christmas lights

Hundreds of Aurorans, young and old, gathered in the forecourt of Aurora Town Hall last Wednesday night for the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony hosted by the Town of Aurora.
While Santa made an appearance to help Mayor and Council turn on the lights, Mrs. Claus was on hand to share stories with the young and young at heart, as were the Salvation Army providing live music and warmth through an unending supply of hot chocolate, and volunteers who kept the crafty kids busy!
