Before moving on I must publicly express appreciation for the many years I have been spokesperson in Aurora for myself and others.
To Aurora staff who took care of problems I brought to their attention while a Councillor, they went above and beyond and made my job easy. I am sure they will continue to do the same.
To all those over several generations, whose steadfast loyalty and trust and, dare I say affection, gave me confidence to speak strongly on your behalf.
To the people who provided assistance one way or another, in the recent election, and previous elections: we did our best.
The chips fell where they did.
We had our chance to make a difference and made the most of it.
