Reader impressed with Aurora’s Operations department

I called Thursday with a concern about a sidewalk closure, suggesting people cross mid-block (a very long block) across four lanes of traffic on Bayview. Visions of parents with strollers finding the sidewalk closed and either crossing or pushing strollers in live lanes!
They contacted the developer building the new LA Fitness complex on Bayview, who moved the sign immediately to the closest traffic light crossings.
Less than 24 hours, I was so impressed.
I’ve also contacted the Town recently about utility box covers falling off at various places and they have had them repaired in less than 48 hours.
I always receive a concerned, positive response.
Way to go Operations Department of Aurora.
