Aurora’s Bantam A Tigers win the 2014 – 2015 Pittsburgh Veterans Cup

Aurora’s Bantam A Tigers returned home this weekend as the 2014-2015 Pittsburgh Veterans Cup Champions.

The Tigers went 3W – 1L in pool play finishing second overall and advancing directly to the Finals.

This would also set up a re-match versus the Toronto Aeros, to whom the boys lost 5 – 3 in pool play.

The finals were an exciting, hard-fought contest that was close to the very end. The Tigers took the lead late into the third and survived a late push by the Aeros.

Ultimately, a great team effort preserved the lead and a 2 – 1 victory.
