Aurora Baseball Bantam Boys win season-ending tournament

On Sunday, August 24, the U15 Bantam baseball team, sponsored by The Restorer’s Group, won their season-ending tournament with resounding success.

The team played summer baseball from May through August, within a five-team loop, including two other Aurora teams and two King City KTBA teams.
In the final days leading up to the tournament, the Restorer’s Group Bantam team won five games consecutively to take the championship in the tournament.

The entire team played hard and strong through five games in four days, besting their two King City team opponents and one Aurora team through games Thursday, Friday, Saturday and two games on the Sunday.

The boys were coached through an awesome season of baseball by Coach Ed Panela. After five straight games of victory, Coach Panela said: “Everyone was hitting great and the fielding was awesome. The best part of all this was that the boys were having fun. I couldn’t be more proud of each and every one of them.”
