Sport Aurora Breakfast of Champions Spotlight: 13U Storm Typhoon girls bring home the gold, silver and bronze

Storm Typhoon competed in four 13U tournaments and one 14U tournament in their first season together as there was no 12U age division.

As an underage team they managed to capture an OVA (Ontario Volleyball Association) bronze medal at the last regular season tournament and finish 9th at 13U OVA Provincials.

In their second year together the team competed in both 13U and 14U divisions. The girls did not lose a match all year at 13U, capturing 4 OVA gold medals and the Provincial title.

In their third season together the team competed in both 14U and 15U divisions. The girls captured 3 OVA gold and one OVA silver medal in regular season in their own age division and captured back-to-back Provincial titles.

The majority of the girls compete on the beach each off season and have captured medals at 14U, 15U and 16U age divisions this summer. 7 of the girls are part of 4 teams that will go into 14U Beach Provincials ranked in the top 10 teams in Ontario.
