A piece of Aurora found in Goderich

August 14, 2014   ·   0 Comments

Thanks to the many articles about local history printed in the Auroran over the years, I was aware of the existence of the famed Fleury foundry that once made high quality agricultural implements that sold across the continent.
To give credence to the old Yogi Berra quip that you can see a lot just by looking, last week I found myself bending over to have a look at an old plow that is part of a mini putt course north of Goderich.
As you will see by the pictures attached, the plow (a No. 21 Dandy) was made in our town.
Good on the Auroran to print pictures and articles about our past!
