The Duke of York officially unveiled a new plaque, which will be installed in Aurora’s Diamond Jubilee Park, on Thursday afternoon.

Prince Andrew did the honours following a luncheon hosted by Aurora’s Queen’s York Rangers at nearby Oakview Terrace.

During the lunch, the Queen’s son met with over 100 people in attendance, paid tribute to the Queen’s York Rangers’ role as reservists, their important role in the recent Afghan mission, as well as their ties to regiments in the United Kingdom.
