Successful Neighbourhood Network tree planting day spawns second session Saturday

Recently, over 200 volunteers from the communities of Aurora, East Gwillimbury, Georgina, and Newmarket gathered to plant trees for Neighbourhood Network's Spring Tree Planting day.
The Spring Tree Planting program is offered annually by Neighbourhood Network, in partnership with the Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority and the municipalities of Aurora, East Gwillimbury, Georgina, and Newmarket.
We are thrilled to announce that over the past five year, this program has succeeded in planting over 10,000 trees and shrubs in our communities!
Neighbourhood Network will be hosting an additional Spring Tree Planting on Saturday, May 31st where volunteers from the Newmarket Stingrays Swim Club will spend the morning giving back.
The success of this program is only possible with the support of our community residents. On behalf of Neighbourhood Network, thank you to all those who helped us plant for our future!
