Reader angered by Alleslev’s reasons

When I saw the news about the crossover to the Conservatives by our “elected” MP without warning or consultation with her constituents, I was angry and frustrated by her comments that she was doing this for us.
If I had wanted to vote for Andrew Scheer, I would have voted for the Conservative candidate at that time.
I believe that this was a personal decision based on her thinking that she’d have a better chance winning in the next election, if she made the switch. I do hope that she lands back into being one of the constituents and not a politician in the next election.
