The Lower Lakes Female Hockey League Championship will feature some Panthers pride.
The Atom A Aurora Panthers squads has booked their ticket to the LLFHL championship weekend, with four others yet to decide their fate.
They continued their perfect postseason with a two-game sweep of the Whitby Wolves, allowing just three goals through four games so far to finish first in their division.
Their BB counterparts sit one game back of the North York Storm in their respective semifinal, after pouncing through the Barrie Sharks in round one.
The Bantam A team leads one game to one over the Barrie Wolves, while the Bantam BBs will compete in a do-or-die Game Three with the Brampton Canadettes after splitting the first two games.
The most seasoned remaining Aurora squad is the Midget BB Panthers, who need a win in game three after falling 2 – 0 in game one and tying game two 1 – 1.
Championship weekend goes March 23-25 in Canlan York University and Westwood Arena in Toronto.
