Regency Acres P.S. hosts Festive Shop

On December 7 and 8, Regency Acres P.S. held its third annual Festive Shop.

This is an event that gives students the opportunity to shop for new or gently-loved items donated by the parent community, as well neighbouring businesses. Parent and student volunteers labelled, sorted, wrapped, stocked, and helped students choose their special gifts so they are ready for holiday-giving.

Students purchased items at extremely low prices and the proceeds went towards supporting the school’s parent, family and community engagement programs.

“This event was made possible by the incredible leadership of the School Council’s fundraising chair, Leah Clark” says Principal Lisa Leoni. “The support and response from the school community was overwhelming and is reflective of the positive relationship between school and community.”

Leah mentioned “the spirit of this event is Regency’s way of giving back, which makes it so fun and rewarding to organize. The sales this year have far exceeded previous years and we are excited for next year.”
