Dutch-Canadian caption had error: veteran

On the front page of your paper for the week of May 19, the picture of the Dutch-Canadian Friendship Garden was nice – with one small detail wrong. It was the 70th anniversary, instead of the 60th.
I happened to be in Holland as a 20 year old Canadian soldier, so I remember it well.
I have also been back to Holland for the 50th anniversary in 1995, the 55th anniversary in 2000, and the 60th anniversary celebrations in 2005. I would have gone for the 70th, but for health reasons could not.
I think you owe an apology to our Dutch friends. They will never forget the date, nor will I.
