The Aurora Youth Soccer Club held its annual June Festival last weekend, a chance for house league players of all ages to meet in a two-day tournament across Aurora’s fields.

Following a full day of action on Saturday at Sheppard’s Bush, Magna, Summit Park, Craddock Park, and Machell Park, the finalists converged on Sheppard’s Bush’s main field on Sunday to determine the best in Aurora in each age group.

The under-13 Girls kicked off early morning, with Royal defeating Gold 1 – 0. In under-13 Boys, Purple defeated Silver 2 – 1.

In under-15, the Girls champs were Navy 1 – 0 over Royal, and for the Boys it was Royal 4 – 3 over Navy.

Rounding out the day were the under-18s, Silver defeating Purple 1 – 0 in Girls and Red defeating Lime Green 2 – 0 in Boys.

Ages twelve and below played a “festival” format, where no statistics are taken and players work on skills and development.
