There is Something About Mary Georgopoulos.
Where is she now?
Those of us who used to frequent Jonathan’s Restaurant enjoyed sharing our lives, thoughts and dreams with Mary Georgopoulos, the former owner of the Aurora restaurant which fed residents for over 20 years on Yonge Street.
Many miss her kindness, compassion and community spirit. It was always great to be able to just pop by and spend time with her. So many ideas and great times were born and celebrated with her over the years. It was the heart of Aurora, helping local charities, fundraisers, churches and hosting countless community events.
Where is she now?
I was happy to find her back on Yonge Street, Aurora currently working at Aw Shucks’ new location just south of Wellington.
It seems Mary missed us too. She is helping gather a lunch crowd and I know she would love to see her friends.
The new venue is beautiful.
It’s a treat to share a delicious organic coffee and/or lunch and catch up with Mary G.
So, if you miss her too, visit her for lunch or a coffee, Monday to Friday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
But wait, there’s more!
Making it extra special is Vera Harrison is there too!
